The airport
The airport of Malaga is very easily reachable from most European countries. Malaga itself is an exuberant, trendy city. A lot of efforts have been put into it during the last few years to lift the city to a higher level. There is a completely renewed harbour with shops, restaurants, Ferris wheel, and the first ever Pompidou Centre outside of France. Malaga divides the Costa del Sol into two completely different areas: The busier West Coast and the more authentic East Coast. At the coast you can find Marbella, Mijas, Estepona, Torremolinos and Benalmadena which are the most popular cities. They are bigger and busier than the East coast. Are you looking for a quieter environment, traditional Andalusian white villages and beautiful nature, then you will find your dream destination at the East Coast. Nerja, Torrox, Torre del Mar, en Rincon de la Victoria are the best known coastal cities.

Several big cultural cities like Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Ronda, Merida etc. Are all located within a reasonable distance.
Our area is still quite cheap to live. You will notice immediately that visits to restaurants, supermarkets, water bills, taxes etc. are a lot cheaper than in other countries.
You can plan a wide variety of activities during your stay at the Costa del Sol. Various water sports, abseiling, paragliding, speleology, horse riding, walking, cycling, tapas tours etc. In short, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
